About

Mr. W.G. Chatum Aloj Sankalpa is a Lecturer attached to the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering since 2015. He received his BScEng.(Hons) Degree from Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka in 2015. He received a PG.Dip in Electrical Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2018 and received the Excellent Foreign Student scholarship for pursuing the Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in 2021 from Sirindhorn International institute of Technology, Thammasat University, Thailand. He has authored/co-authored some international conference papers in addition to many of his local publications. He is currently researching on developing a novel machine-learning algorithm to effectively forecasting the electric energy consumption in Thailand. His research interests are not limited, but lie broadly in the areas of Machine Learning, Energy Forecasting, Power Electronic Converters, Renewable Energy Technologies, Electronics Circuit Design, CNC Machining and Robotics.
