BSc Eng (Hons) – Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering offers BScEng (Hons) degree, specializing in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the commencement of the faculty in the year 2000. 

The degree program received the IESL Recognition status from its inception and has been fully accredited since 2010 by IESL. In year 2018, a comprehensive curriculum revision was carried out in the areas of Materials, Manufacturing, Applied Mechanics, Control and Mechatronics, and, Thermal and Fluid Engineering to accommodate the Washington Accord Accreditation needs to achieve 12 programme outcomes.

BSc Eng (Hons) – Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture

The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering has already introduced BScEng (Hons) degree, specializing in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture with 2019/2020 A/L student intake.  

Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture degree program is designed to comply with international and local accreditation requirements. The degree program allows students to design systems, components or processes to achieve the objectives. Under this degree programme, students are trained to conduct investigations to undertake comprehensive research projects, and this improves lifelong opportunities of the students.
